Tamiya Honda CB750F 1/12 Scale
The CB750 broke the mould and was a bike for enthusiasts - technically (if only by a month) the second true modern Superbike behind the Triumph Trident (aka BSA Rocket 3). The CB750 was the first modern four cylinder machine from a mainstream manufacturer and the first production bike to use a disc brake, an electric starter, with four carburetors and overhead camshaft.[citation needed] By comparison the triple cylinder Triumph Trident was an extension of an older engine design in a far better handling frame.
Tamiya Suzuki New Katana GSX750S 1/12 Scale
The 1984 year's GSX750SE was a completely new model, not just a facelift. It was designed by Suzuki engineers in Japan but it still kept the original Hans Muth lines. The engine had been replaced by the new oil-cooled 16-valve unit from the GSX750E/ES/EF, and developed 90 unrestricted bhp. It had the Suzuki Full Floater suspension rear end and Positive Damping Forks at the front.
Probably the most noticeable of all however was the new fairing which now had a retractable (pop-up) headlight which helped give it an even sharper front end than the previous models. The frame and parts of the wheels were colored gold and the black painted engine had also gold paint on the cam end covers and engine sides. For domestic market in Japan, the model code was GSX750S-3. The Japanese model had 77 hp/ 9.000 rpm, 63 Nm (6,4 kg-m)/ 7.500 rpm.
Fujimi Honda VT250F 1/12 Scale
First came out in 1983. DOHC, 8-valve 90 degree V-twin four-stroke. Pro-link rear suspension, but drum brake, and problematic "inboard" disc on front. Engine had crankshaft and timing chain problems. Be wary of the older VT's. Check them out thoroughly.
IMEX Harley Davidson Bad Boy 1995 Model FXSTSB 1/12 Scale
In 1995 Harley again released a blacked-out, tricked-out version of one of its popular models. It was cool. Really cool. It had a black springer front end, black rear struts, a black oil tank and yes, oh yes, best of all, dirt-tracker bars. What did they call this creation? The FXSTSB Badboy. And guess what? No one bought it and we can't figure out why.
